After revising the assignment, ask:
If a student used generative AI appropriately, could I still see what that student knows, how they reasoned, what evidence they used, and what decisions they made?
If the answer is yes, the assignment is probably becoming more resilient. If the answer is no, add more visible process or judgment.
Retrofit, do not merely restrict.
The goal is not to make every assignment AI-proof. The goal is to make learning visible enough that appropriate AI use cannot erase the evidence you actually care about.
